Xalvador's opening

Post by Guest on Mon Aug 05, 2013 11:39 am

Xalvador: Quit running and just take what is coming. I don't have all night to give chase.

Xalvador continues running up the stairs, in pursuit of his most recent find. An evil smirk breaks on his face, and he lets out a small chuckle. Giving chase was always the fun part of his journeys. The chase was just so exhilarating. Not quite as fun as the kill though.

Where is he hiding now?

Xalvador: Why must they always hide, Knowing damn well imma sniff them out anyway.

Xalvador continues up the stairs til he comes to the top, in which he sees a long hallway filled with well over 12 to 14 rooms. Great, this is just gonna make things harder. He starts walking down the hallway, his trusty weapon of choice in hand. A special kind of rifle designed just for the task at hand. Xalvador makes his way to the first door on his left. Once in front he readies himself and kicks the first door down. Empty. He makes his way across the hall to the hall to the first door on the right, once again readying himself. Empty. He singingly calls out,

Xalvador: You know im gonna find you. Your efforts of hiding are pretty much futile.

Argh, they never seem to smart. really, hiding in a castle?pshh.Useless. Xalvador makes his way back across the hall to the second door on the left when suddenly he hears a small thump coming from further down the hall. He smiles, then heads a bit further down the hall. The noise seemed to be coming from the 3rd door from the end, on the right hand side. Once in front of the door in question he stops to prepare himself for what may be awaiting on the other side. After a moment to consider how this could play out, he quietly opens the door and slowly walks in. In the dead of night, the darkness that penetrates these rooms can make it hard to find his prize of the day. Giving his eyes a split second to adjust to the rooms darkness, he makes his way in. Knowing fully that he is at a disadvantage, Xalvador drops his gun to his side to try and appear more vulnerable. He hears a creak of the floor coming from his left, then as quick as he can turn the beast unleashes a powerful punch connecting right in the ribs of Xalvador. The force of the punch is enough to send Xalvador across the room and into the wall, periodically knocking the wind from his lungs. And his rifle from his hands. With no hesitation, this black mass standing about 7 feet tall, runs up to Xalvador, wraps his hand around the hunters neck, and proceeds to tighten his grip.

Black Mass: You came here to end my life, but it is I who will end yours!

This Beast with its incredible strength, picks up the huntsman and throws him to the other side of the room.  Xalvador lands on a table, smashing it into pieces. This mass with speed that cannot be matched, races to Xalvador and proceeds to reach down to grab him again when the huntsman regains his composure. Xalvador sweeps the leg of the beast, taking him off balance but doesnt make him fall. Xalvador then kicks his feet up, and thrusts them toward the beast connecting. The beast tumbles forward while Xalvador lands on his feet. Xalvador charges the beast fearlessly, and jumps on his back.

Xalvador: Why can't you demons ever make things easy!

The beast, now known as a demon, unphased by all this, grabs the hunter with ease and throws him off. The hunter lands on the floor, motionless, while the Demon slowly walks over to him.

The Demon: Xalvador Leinhart! The most feared and successful Demon hunter of the night, taken out by Memnoch the great.

The demon lets out a bellowing laugh

Memnoch: You should have known you stood no chance!

Memnoch finally makes his way to Xalvador, and lets a smile out. Suddenly with blinding speed Xalvador rolls over to expose he has located his trusty rifle!

Xalvador: I've had enough of the likes of you!

Xalvador delivers another grin as he fires off a shot connecting right in the face of Memnoch. A blinding light shoots out of the wound on Memnoch's face, engulfing him. The demon lets off a scream of pain before he explodes and disintegrates into ash. Xalvador takes a deep breathe then exhales. He makes his way to his feet and exits the room and makes his way to the exit of the building. Walking down the stairs he hears something. a feint and distant singing can be heard off in the distance. Xalvador walks down the stairs and makes his way out of the castle, trying to listen to the singing. Thinking in his mind, This isnt something i should go looking for he tries with all his might to just make his way back to his vehicle and drive off. But something about this singing has enchanted him. Feeling out of control of his body, Xalvador starts walking toward the singing. It appears to be coming from deep in the town next to the castle he was just in. Just a small village that has been abondoned for years now, called Tasbrook. Xalvador slowly makes his way through the small tree line seperating the town from the castle. He starts walking down a street directly ahead of him, unable to turn his head to get the name of it. As he wonders down he can make out that this town hasnt been in use for some time. Looking in the windows of buildings that seem to be from  the late 1800s early 1900s. He can make out con webs thicker then his arm in some of the windows. Continuing down the street he thinks to himself,This can't be happening? He comes to an abrupt stop outside a structure that looked to be of a tavern in its glory days. Without missing a step he enters the building, Not knowing what to expect. Inside he sees a woman, standing next to a black cloud of some sort.

Woman: Not fond of demons are we Xalvador?

The woman lets out a shrieking giggle

Woman: Where your going is gonna be hell to you then!

Xalvador starts walking toward the black cloud, unable to speak or move still. Only thinking of the womans words, Where your going is gonna be like hell to you then!

Re: Xalvador's opening

Another dark night of hunting has brought Xalvador Leinhart to a castle just on the outside of a town. A small line of trees seperate the land of the castle from where the town begins. A tall mass of a structure standing over 100 feet tall makes a weird hiding spot for the hunted to hide. But on a cold dark night like tonight, its better then being out in the icy cold. Xalvador enters the castle just in time to see a mass running up the stairs to his right.

Xalvador: Enough running and just take what's coming, I don't have all night to simply give chase.
