The Not-Quite Love Triangle

Airi is preparing herself to go out and announce as Laura approaches her slowly.

Laura: Ai... Airi?

Airi stops her preparations for a moment before continuing, opting to ignore Laura.

The Mark: Perhaps you're more comfortable to speak with me?

Airi immediately turns, seeing The Mark standing beside Laura.

The Mark: My partner, Ms. Laura Kinney, would wish to speak to you about continuing your former relationship.

Airi: Not a chance! She was purposely flirting with the guards behind my back! I trusted her to be with me, and only me!

Laura: Airi, I didn't think I was doing anything wrong. The guards were the ones that kept complimenting me and talking about our relationship.

Airi: Don't you lie to me you-!

Airi goes to strike Laura, but is stopped by The Mark.

The Mark: Emotion is the key and lock to all thoughts, rational and otherwise. I would suggest not allowing your bitterness to cloud your judgement.

Airi angrily stares right at The Mark before turning back to Laura.

Airi: You're just going to let this man fight for you?!

Laura shakes her head

Laura: You know if I wanted to fight, I'd have you screaming in agony by now. But I care too much for you to do that.

The Mark: And the same can also be said of you, Ms. Airi. When you got between myself and Ms. Laura, I could see behind those eyes that you still care for her.

Airi grumbles for a moment.

Airi: Maybe I do care for her, but I don't love her!

Laura: It's because of what Sakuya has told you, isn't it?

Airi remains silent, but gives a guilty look as she tries to not look at Laura.

Laura: Then we'll wring the truth from her ourselves!

Laura prepares to leave but The Mark keeps her from going too far.

The Mark: We will, Ms. Laura. The key word is 'we'.

The Mark looks over to Airi and back to Laura.

The Mark: I think its time to introduce both of you to the plan I've been developing since my arrival here.

Airi: Plan? For what?

The Mark turns back to Airi with a grin on his face.

The Mark: For gold. For glory. For Revolution.

The Mark motions Laura and Airi to huddle together as the camera backs away.

I may do an RP extension; maybe have the fight between Laura and Sakuya and have Lilith run it and ground and pound Laura; giving a potential feud later
